Job Role: Java Developer

Location : Bethesda , MD

Contract period: 6 months – 1 Year

Rate: $55/hr on C2C (all inclusive)

Immediate Interview

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead the implementation of features in new and existing software systems using Java, Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL.

Collaborate with system architects to design technical solutions.

Research new technologies and make recommendations about their applicability in development projects.

Participate in product requirements discussions to provide feedback on technical feasibility and options.

Estimate future development work.

Troubleshoot and repair software systems, both collaboratively and individually.

Analyze and tune the performance of database applications.

Develop unit tests for software components.

Create documentation for use by other developers and internal customers.

 Experience with the following technologies:

 

Java/ J2EE

Oracle/ PL/SQL/SQL

XML/XSLT

Linux/UNIX

Perl, or other scripting language

 Experience with the following tools:

 

Eclipse

Toad/Oracle developer

CVS or other Source control tool
